Exclusive-Shanmukh Jaswanth on meeting Tamil superstar Suriya and how their interaction helped him recover from depression

Shanmukh Jaswanth shot to fame with his shortfilms, dance videos, webseries on YouTube and his controversial stint in Bigg Boss Telugu 5.
He is an ardent fan of Tamil superstar Suriya and his dream has came true in March when he met his favoruite star. Shanmukh shared a peek into the conversation and how much it means to him in his exclusive chat with ETimes TV.
“It was a surreal experience.In fact, I couldn’t pay much attention to what he was saying in the first few moments. He said he saw my reels, performances and how I’m doing in life. He was so kind enough to say that he is there for me. He may or may not be, but coming from him means a lot, I should say.”
He adds, “I was going through one of the roughest patches in my life when I met him. Those kind words gave me a high, a confidence to work harder and achieve more. They indeed helped me recover from depression.”
Shanmukh took to his Instagram handle to share a series of videos and pictures of his camaraderie with Suriya. In the videos, Shanmukh can be seen waiting to meet the actor and getting emotional as the latter hugs him. Suriya thanks Shanmukh for his Instagram reels as well.
Sharing a video, Shanmukh left a heartwarming note that reads, "I love you @actorsuriya Anna !

Shanmukh will now be seen in the upcoming webseries Agent Anand Santosh. It is a comedy detective fiction series which also features KGF 2 fame Balakrishna and others. The series is set to stream on a popular OTT platform that streamed series like BFF, Anya’s Tutorial and shows like Telugu Indian Idol and more.
